Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Engineer (Full-time or Part-time)

StoneHill is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Engineer with a minimum four to seven years of environmental consulting experience to join our team. Key job functions include managing and conducting field investigations associated with environmental and remediation projects, implementation of soil and groundwater sampling work plans, and preparation of environmental reports. The candidate must have a BS or MS in a technical field such as Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering, and experience in environmental field investigations. The position requires experience with multi-media environmental sampling, drilling oversight, and completing ASTM Phase I ESAs. Experience conducting projects under the MassDEP, NHDES and Maine DEP regulations is ideal, particularly experience with petroleum release investigation/remediation and the NH Petroleum Reimbursement Funds. The position requires strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills, along with the ability to balance the needs of multiple concurrent projects while meeting schedule deadlines and quality requirements. Computer skills including MS Microsoft Office, GIS, and AutoCAD experience are a plus. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training is required and ICC UST Decommissioning Certification helpful. Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

StoneHill is seeking a motivated organized office assistant/administrator to perform front office duties including reception, word processing, report editing, consulting report assembly, invoice processing, collections, and other office management and project related tasks as required. This is a key position which is essential to the success of the StoneHill team. Applicants must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as WORD, Excel and Access. The position requires working directly with all of the firm professionals, the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, and a high regard for quality, attention to details, and meeting deadlines.
